getting here
Go to the Toronto Island Ferry Terminal (Jack Layton Ferry Terminal) and head to the Wards Island ferry. If it's too busy, go to TDOT water Taxi or Toronto Harbour Water Taxi just East of the ferry terminal at the foot of Yonge Street.
The Island Outpost, at 101 Cibola Avenue, is just a 3-4 minute walk from the ferry docks at Wards Island. Turn right (west) on the main road (Cibola Ave) when you get off the boat.

Cancellation policy: You must give at least 24 hour notice for cancellation to receive a full refund for most experiences. Cancellations within the 24 hour period leading up to event may be eligible for store credits.

Minimum requirement for participation: water based experiences require you to have the ability to swim short distances and tread water without a personal flotation device (PFD) or lifejacket on. We do not do a swim test and rely on the honesty of the participants to answer this question truthfully in order to remain safe on the water. A properly fitted and sized PFD or lifejacket is required to be worn for all TISUP on-water experiences. Please be on time upon returning equipment. Late fees may be added especially for end of day rentals returning after our closing time.

For land-based rentals such as for bicycles and in-line skates, some experience is required. Patrons must have the basic ability to safely manage equipment and abide by the rules and etiquette of the road.
